Since 1971, OSHA outreach courses have been training people with the intent of promoting workplace safety. The 10 Hour OSHA outreach course for general industry provides awareness on a variety of general industry safety and health standards. This class is designed for supervisors, safety committee members, and any employee charged with the task of worksite safety.
This two day course is taught by an authorized General Industry Outreach Program Trainer; topics will include:
- Introduction to OSHA
- Walking and Working Surfaces
- Fire Protection
- Electrical Safety
- Hazard Communication (Right to Know)
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ergonomics in the Workplace
- Lockout/Tagout
- Machine Guarding
Upon completion of this course, participants will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Card.
